Crash at the 1st Round of Italian Pursuit at 'Varna Karting Track' for amateurs (Gallery)
The start of
Italian Pursuit for the 2013/2014 season was given at 'Varna Karting Track' last
week on November, 10th. The rules of Italian Pursuit are: two racers
start from two different points on the track. They have to record the best
time. The participant who makes the best time eliminates the slower one.
The race is
separated by classes:
A-Class: up
to 1600
B-Class:
above 1600
C-Class: Modified
The majority
cars that took part in the race were: BMW, Citroën, Honda,
Lada, Mercedes, Mitsubishi, Nissan, Opel, Peugeot, Renault, Subaru, Suzuki,
Trabant, Volvo and VW. Lada was the most modified car. In fact, Lada is very
popular model for tuning in Bulgaria and Russia. For Bulgaria that's because of
the price of the car and it is very easy for maintenance.

4th
round: 16.02.2014
5th
round: 16.03.2014
In the very
first round there was a small crash. One of the participants with Opel Astra,
when going out of the last turn, lost control over the car and had collision
with a pillar next to the track. Fortunately, he is in good health and there
are material damages only.
