The new 10-spd TorqShift® heavy-duty transmission offers live-drive power takeoff, so you can engage industrial equipment and accessories, even to using them while you're driving the new F-Series Super Duty. Snowplows are just an example of how you can use the live-drive power takeoff.

The all-new 10-speed automatic transmission TorqShift® is electronically controlled. You can choose between Normal, Tow/Haul, Eco, Slippery, and Deep Sand and Snow driving modes.

There aren’t any space requirements for the new 10-speed TorqShift® gearbox because it's as big as the old 6-speed gearbox. It's only 3.5 pounds (1.6 kg) heavier than the old one.

Still, the old 6-speed TorqShift Heavy-Duty Automatic Transmission with SelectShift™ is available only for the Ford F-250 with the 6.2L V8 gas engine.
