Nissan Attacks the Le Mans 24 Hours
Nissan
declared its Le Mans challenger – the Nissan GT-R LM NISMO during the
commercial brake for Super Bowl XLIX - the most watched TV program in U.S. with
over 110 million views.
The
GT-R LM NISMO has V6 3.0-liter turbo petrol engine. It is mounted in front of
the car. The engine produces 600 horsepower.
This Nissan is with front-wheel-drive car and the Kinetic Energy
Recovery System is also available.
Nissan
GT-R LM Nismo will wear the TAG Heuer logo in the next three years because the
Swiss watch maker is the Official Watch Partner and Official Timekeeping
Partner.
Motul
has enjoyed a long-standing relationship with NISMO over the past two decades.
So, it isn’t surprise that the Motul is the Official Lubricants Partner for the
program. Even more, Le Mans Prototype (LM P1) program comes after the Super GT
Championship victory for the iconic #23 MOTUL AUTECH GT-R.
The
LM P1 program will use tires supplied by Michelin. The French manufacturer has
developed tires especially for the Nissan GT-R LM NISMO and been an integral
part of the car's extensive test program.
