The BMW M760Li xDrvie is Here

It was a long time ago when I was sad that the BMW 7-Series doesn’t have a BMW M-Performance model. They make it and my dream come true. Now I’m more than happy to see the BMW M760Li xDrive. A single BMW M760Li xDrive isn’t enough for a dream, a least two!

What's The BMW M760Li xDrive Engine?

The most exciting thing about the BMW M760Li xDrive is its engine. It's an M Performance TwinPower Turbo V12-cylinder petrol engine with a capacity of 6,592 cc. The max power is 610 hp @ 5500 rpm and 800 Nm (590 lb.-ft.) of torque from 1500 rpm. If someone is curious about the fuel consumption of this engine, it's given 12.6l/100km (18.7 mpg-US and 22.4 mpg imp).  The relevant CO2 emissions are 294 g/km. The acceleration from 0 to 100 km (62 mph) is for 3.7 seconds. The top speed of the BMW M760Li xDrive is limited to 250 km/h (155 mph) or 305 km/h (189 mph) if the optional M Driver’s Package is specified.

The BMW M760Li xDrive is equipped with an innovative suspension system called Executive Drive Pro. It was introduced with the new BMW 7 Series. The Executive Drive Pro is an active suspension system that links up with two-axle air suspension and the Dynamic Damper Control system. These systems have to give you exceptional comfort in the new BMW M760Li xDrive. The Executive Drive Pro includes the updated version of the Dynamic Drive system, which reduces the roll at the front and rear axles.

The adjustable anti-roll bars raise the comfort level when you drive the M760Li xDrive in a straight line. The BMW M760Li xDrive has standard air suspension which is returned especially for its dynamic character.

Another feature that you will receive as standard with the new BMW M760Li xDrive is called Integral Active Steering. What does it mean? It’s an innovative system that has to give you more maneuverability in urban traffic, agility, and directional stability during high-speed driving. The Integral Active Steering makes not only the front wheels steer but the rear also turn. Depending on the situation the rear wheels will turn in the opposing (while maneuvers) or the same direction (while accelerating in cornering) to the front wheels. The differing characteristics permitted by the steering electronics are linked directly to the Driving Experience Control switch and activated by selecting the relevant program. The characteristic of the steering system is tuned specially to the dynamic character of the BMW M760Li xDrive.

You can activate the Adaptive mode via the standard Driving Experience Control switch in the new BMW M760Li xDrive. The Adaptive mode gives you intuitive adjustment to the chassis control and automatic selection of the driving mode. Using the information from the navigation system, a stereo camera, and analyzing your driving style, the Adaptive mode adjusts the chassis systems to your driving style.

This is my 15th time using the word “xDrive” in this post. The M760Li has an xDrive system which is based on the rear wheels. This means that the main torque is given to the back tires. But the xDrive system can distribute the torque fully variably between the front and rear axles depending on the situation. The xDrive system should give you the dynamic ability, agility, and traction for your BMW M760Li xDrive.

If you are asking why the torque of the M760Li is based on the rear wheels and it’s not balanced, for instance. Because thus the BMW M760Li xDrive has sportier performance. It’s not an off-road vehicle. Actually, the xDrive is some kind of bonus for your BMW, doesn’t matter which model you have. The xDrive has to give you more traction in any condition on the road as sand, ice, snow, wet, and so on.

The details are important. There are two details that will be loved by the M-Power and V12 fans. On the front fender, the new BMW M760Li xDrive has the M-logo and on the rear C-pillar, it has a V12-badge. You can distinguish the standard 7-Series and M760Li using these details. Of course, you can remove the model and the equipment level badges. The M-Performance 7-Series, M760Li, comes with 20-inch M light-alloy wheels with a new double-spoke design and surfaces painted in matt Cerium Grey.

Your new BMW M760Li xDrive comes with M aerodynamic package fitted as standard. The M760Li xDrive doesn’t have fog lamps because there are two huge air intakes for both sides. The key element of any BMW is the front grille and the BMW M760Li xDrive has active flaps. This means that the flaps will be open automatically in order to give more air to “breath”… burn the fuel. Optionally, you can order an M rear spoiler which will optimize the airflow.

Inside BMW M760Li xDrive also screams “M” and “V12”. On the door sills, there are illuminated V12 inscriptions. Another V12 inscription is next to the gear stick and behind the iDrive controller. The instrumental cluster has a special M design. In the middle of it and between the speedometer and rpm meter there is a color M760Li inscription. The M logo is also placed at the bottom on the middle spoke of the steering wheel.

The BMW M760Li combines two of my thoughts which are very different. First of all, BMW 7-Series long version is for people who have to seat on the rear seat as Managers, CEO, Presidents, and so on. Otherwise, the M Power or the M Performance cars of BMW are made to be driven. If someone is looking for status, then the Rolls-Royce Phantom will do that job.

That’s why I think that if someone drives a BMW 7 Series he/she should have a contract where writes job position: Driver. Otherwise, when I buy a few M760Li models I think that I can’t stand more than 5 minutes with an effort on the rear seat. Then I will jump from my seat, I will throw the driver in the passenger place and I will enjoy the trip in the BMW M760Li xDrive. It’s nice when dreams come true and it's really nice to enjoy them.
