2869 Smart
fans from 32 countries had an international meeting. This is the 17th
gathering of Smart fans invited by the Smart. This year the Smart's event had
the motto "Electrify Your Life”
and was held in the Spanish coastal town of Salou on 16 and 17 June 2017.

The
participants had opportunety to celebrated their cult brand and its
diversity with a smart flea market, a special driving circuit, outings together
and a live performance by Nervo. Smart fans
met designers, tuners, experts and got to know Smart clubs from around the
world. 532 Smarts took a part in the traditional closing parade. They was drove
in a convoy through the coastal town of Salou and along the Costa Dorada.

The people who had participated in the Smart's event
had test-drive of the new 100% electric models of Smart. The electric version
of Smart Fortwo has 12.9 kWh/100 km combined power consumption. The Smart
Forfour has 13.1 kWh/100 km combined power consumption. Both Smart models have
0 g/km CO2 emissions. The Smart offers conventional and battery-electric drive
for its entire model range.

Next year the Smart celebrates its
20th anniversary and the celebration will be held at Smart's
production facility in Hambach, France.
