Tesla reminds today that the Federal
Tax Credit for electric vehicles expires within 5 weeks. That’s why now is the
best moment to order your new Tesla Model S, Model X or Model 3. Tesla also
wants to remind you that the purchase order can be made within 3 minutes so that
if you want a Christmas present it will be delivered by the end of 2019.

Otherwise, you also have
to pay attention to orders that are made near the end of the year. The
last-minute orders may affect the delivery process and the owners couldn’t get
their Teslas before December 31, 2019.
An important question is
whether the customers who order their cars near the end of the year will be
able to use the Federal Tax Credit? Well, if the purchase is made by the end of
the year – everybody who made should be allowed to use the Federal Tax Credit.
Still, if you have any doubts you must consult the situation with your dealer.

If your dream Christmas
gift is a new Tesla you’re in a hurry due to the Federal Tax Credit and the
time for delivery. If you can’t manage it within this period, the car will be
delivered at the beginning of the New Year which is also a good time for a
gift.

Very
soon not only the Federal Tax Credit for electric vehicles will be closed and
also all free benefits that are available now like no year tax; free of a charge
parking zone in the center and so on. All of these because the EV is a new
technology and these benefits aim to increase the purchasing of such cars. Once
there are enough cars all the taxes and fees will be applied again just like
for conventional vehicles. Probably the amount of the taxes and fees will be
based either or both on the capacity of the battery and/or the power of the
engine. It’s interesting whether the taxes and fees of EV will be less than those
that are applying for vehicles with internal combustion engines at the moment.
There is no other option except to wait and to see what is going to happen.
