Comes With a 48V Technology

Both the 2024 BMW X5 M Competition and the 2024 BMW X6 M Competition are the first high-performance M models that come with a 48V technology. The electric motor is integrated in a compact housing of the 8-speed M Steptronic transmission. The electric motor delivers up to 12 hp (9 kW) additional power and 200 Nm (147 lb. ft.) of torque. Moreover, that electric motor also works as a crankshaft-mounted starter generator. The 48V battery for the 48V electric motor is located in the engine compartment. The 48V battery is recharging during braking and on the overrun. This 48V system has highly efficient adaptive recouperation during the mentioned driving stages.

What’s The 2024 BMW X5 M Competition Engine?

The new BMW X5 M Competition comes with a new M TwinPower Turbo V8 Engine – S68. It’s a 4.4L engine and now it has reinforced crankshaft driver, better turbocharging, a new air intake duct, and optimized oil supply system and oil separation process.

The US version of the 2024 BMW X5 M Competition accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h (0-62 mph) in 3.9 seconds. The 2024 X5 M Competition US specs accelerates from 0-60 mph in 3.7 seconds. That’s fast! The top speed is electronically limited to 155 mph. The max speed of the 2024 BMW X5 M Competition can be increased to 177 mph with the available US option M Driver’s Package.

It offers three shift settings in both automated and manual modes. The new features of the new 8-speed M Steptronic transmission is characterized by retuned setup, a sharper shift action, and more.

2024 BMW X5 M Competition comes with 12.3-inch Curved Display, 14.9-inch Information Display, BMW Operating System 8 with M specific display content. On the central console are placed knee pads as standard. The 2024 X5 M Competition has ambient light bar with M logo and alert function. The 2024 BMW X5 M Competition has M-specific gear selector. From the M Mode button you can select the driving modes: ROAD, SPORT, or TRACK. Has a New M xDrive

The BMW M xDrive is newly adapted for the 2024 BMW X5 M Competition. The M xDrive works together with the Active M Differential, placed at the rear axle. From the M Setup menu, you can switch between default 4WD setting to 4WD Sport mode. This allows controlled drifts to be made by splitting power with underlined rear-wheels drive.

The new 2024 BMW X5 M Competition comes with 21-in front and 22-in rear wheels. The 2024 X5 M Competition has a new, all-black kidney grille with horizontal bars. The kidney grille surround frame is in matt black. The 2024 BMW X5 M Competition has new rear light design with bold X graphic. The rear apron is also new and it has integrated vertical reflectors.
