V2 Challenge Bulgaria Round 1
April
11, 2015 it was a perfect sunny day to start “V2 Challenge” Round 1. Just
before the start of the “V2 Challenge” the organizer – Tezcan Mustafov gave for
us an interview.
In
the beginning was the briefing about the rules on the track. The organizers
informed the racers about the meaning of every flag. After that the organizers
and the pilots did familiarization tour step by step.
The
“V2 Challenge” has rules as like “V1 Challenge” - there are two races. The
pilots receive points after each race. The points are summarized after the
second race and who have more points is winner.
The
racers had a training set and after that began the qualification . The results
from qualification were: Atanas Markov on the fifth position (blue); Atanas
Stoyanov - fourth (red); Peter Tomov with the green Volkicar in the end of the
qualification set hit the chicane. Fortunately, there weren't serious damages
and he recorded third place. The second position was for Rosen Dobrev (black)
and the first position was Stoyan Shterev (pink).
The
start was gave but not for a long. Atanas Markov can't move through the chicane
and he was the second racer who crashed – not seriously. The race was stopped.
The racetrack was cleaned. The racers had to take their positions and the first
round of the “V2 Challenge” was re-started.
Here
you can watch of the first start.
The
Regulation is that on the second race the first three pilots swap their
positions. This means the third became first; the second is second and the
first pilot became third.
The
second race start was given and there was small collusion between the Stoyan
Shterev and Peter Tomov.
The
race wasn’t stopped and the standing of the Round 1 of
