2016 Chevrolet Colorado Midnight Edition Vs. Z71 Trail Boss

I don’t know a man who has not been impressed about American trucks. And now for all fans on the Chevrolet pickup there are two customized editions: Midnight Edition and Z71 Trail Boss.

The intersections are the engines you can choose between one of these for Midnight Edition or Z71 Trail Boss:

2.5L gas/petrol engine

•              Direct Fuel Injection and Variable Valve Timing help optimize power and efficiency

•              Dual Overhead Camshaft design

•              Powertrain produces: 200 hp @ 6300 rpm and 191 lb-ft (263 Nm) of torque @ 4400 rpm

3.6L gas/petrol engine

•              Helps optimize power and efficiency

•              Direct Fuel Injection and Variable Valve Timing help optimize power and efficiency

•              Dual Overhead Camshaft design

•              Powertrain produces: 305 hp @ 6800 RPM and 269 lb-ft of torque @ 4000 rpm

2.8L Duramax turbo-diesel engine

•              Powertrain produces: 181 hp @ 3,400 rpm and 369 lb-ft of torque (500 Nm) at 2,000 rpm.

•              A broad torque band makes it very powerful at low rpm, while the turbocharged performance provides a confident feeling of immediate and smooth horsepower on demand.

    •       The Duramax 2.8L is the cleanest diesel truck engine ever produced by General Motors, and meets some of the toughest U.S. emissions standards, thanks in part to a cooled exhaust gas recirculation (EGR) system.

All engines will use 2WD or 4WD.

The Colorado Midnight Edition will offers exclusively black color for the body and 18-inch aluminum wheels. The exterior details such as the grille and the bowtie emblem will be in …black color. There is a soft folding tonneau cover for the load space with a Chevrolet-logo sill plates.

The Colorado Z71 Trail Boss will use Chevrolet’s Z71 off-road truck suspension package and Goodyear Wrangler DuraTec® 265/65R17 all-terrain tires. They will be put on 17-inch aluminum wheels. The Colorado Z71 Trail Boss also will has a black bowtie grille emblem and a spray-on bedliner, and a set of all-weather floor mats inside the truck. The LED tail lights are new and give to the truck a little bit sporty view.

The 2016 Chevrolet Colorado Midnight Edition and Z71 Trail Boss will be offered with the extended and crew cab bodies. Presonnaly, for me will be very hard choose to select between the two customized series and two beautiful colors black and blue.

The sales are planned for this fall and the price will be announced later.
