The BMW M6 Competition Edition with the paintwork like BMW 3.0CSL

The BMW M6 Competition Edition has 4.4L V8 M TwinPower Turbo petrol engine. It produces 600 hp (441 kW) and maximum torque is 700 Nm (516 lb-ft). The top speed, probably limited, is 305 km/h (189.5 mph). For 100 km BMW M6 Competition Edition consumes 9.9l (28.5 mpg) in combined driving and emits 231 g/km of CO2.

The transmission is 7-speed M double clutch and uses Drivelogic. The BMW EfficientDynamics for this M6 includes: Brake Energy Regeneration, Automatic Start/Stop function, intelligent lightweight construction, tyres with reduced rolling resistance.

The BMW M6 Competition Edition has two paintwork colors: Alpine White and Austin Yellow metallic. The Alpine White color is combined with BMW M colors. Thus the whole view of the BMW M6 Competition Edition recalls to its great-grandfather from 1973 BMW 3.0 CSL. This color also will be used and for the BMW M6 GT3 race version. The matt-black 20-inch M light-alloy wheels make the contrast for the both color variants. The rims are in double-spoke 343 M styling with mixed tyres.

The front tyres are 265/35 ZR20 99Y and rear 295/30 ZR20 101Y. The rims size 9.5J h 20 for front tyres and 10,5J x 20 for the rear.

In the interior of the BMW M6 Competition Edition you will find Merino full leather in black. Instead “Welcome” inscription on the door sills there is write “M6 Competition”. The interior of the special M6 is made with carbon fiber elements as the gear selector, trim strips and M sports steering wheel. The rim of the steering wheel is made by grippy Alcantara.

The equipment of the BMW M6 Competition Edition includes M multifunction seats for the driver and front passenger. The BMW Head-Up display will help the driver. This M6 could be equipped with Harman Kardon Surround Sound System or High-End Surround Sound System by Bang & Olufsen with 16 speakers and output 1,200 watts.

 Everything has a price tag. The Competition Edition option is available at EUR 17,700. For the 20-inch M light-alloy wheels in double spoke 343 M styling painted in mat black the price is EUR 9,500. Mixed-size tyres EUR 400; multifunctional seats for the driver and front passenger will be mounted for EUR 1,950. The cheapest accessory, but not recommended, is smoker’s package for EUR 50. The price for the Harman Kardon Surround Sound System is EUR 1,290 and for the High-End Surround Sound System by Bang & Olufsen with 16 speakers and output of 1,200 watts is EUR 4,950.
