How many Volkswagen models were sold in 2017?

In the end of December the most of people doing some year resume of the past 12 months. The automotive producers also make their resume and for 2017 Volkswagen sold almost 1 Million Golfs. Which I think is quite good.

The new Volkswagen Golf makes almost 1M sales in 2017.

The VW Golf with all of its variants hatchback, estate and Sportsvan has almost 1M sales for 2017. The Golf hatchback is the leader in its segment in Germany and Europe, from Volkswagen said. Their calculations show that the Golf estate has 11% growth compared with 2016. During the past three decades the Volkswagen Golf family has seven generations and over 34 million units were sold.

The Volkswagen Tiguan makes strong growth this year with 40% compared with 2016. The Tiguan made about 730,000 sales around the world. It makes good sales in China and the second market is Germany. From Volkswagen said that the Tiguan is the leading model on Germany’s market by far and it's also the best-selling SUV in Europe.

What about the Volkswagen Touran? It was delivered to about 150,000 customers worldwide. It has strong demand in Europe’s market, where the VW Touran is among the most popular MPV model, from Volkswagen said. The largest single market for the Touran is Germany.
