2018 Nissan TITAN Surfcamp

Hello there, the Nissan TITAN Surfcamp project vehicle is here. It has one goal, to be your partner when you are going to the beach no matter what you like to do; Does it’s either surfing or fishing, or both.  The TITAN Surfcamp is a 2018 TITAN XD Midnight Edition transformed into an all-inclusive beach partner. The Nissan TITAN Surfcamp is inspired by the vintage trucks of the 60`s and 70`s. The Nissan TITAN Surfcamp features a retro color scheme with roots in Nissan’s heritage. The TITAN Surfcamp made its first public appearance at the International Convention of Allied Sportfishing Trades (ICAST) in Orlando, Florida July 10-13.

The transformation of the Nissan TITAN Surfcamp began with the addition factory-authorized ICON suspension lift kit which is available through Nissan dealers. It’s a Lift Kit ICON Stage 5, 3-inch lift. The TITAN Surfcamp has also ICON Alloy Alpha wheels wrapped in Nitto Ride Grappler tires.

The front bumper of the Nissan TITAN Surfcamp is Fab Four Vengeance Series including fishing rods. On the top there is a Rhino-Rack USA Cab Roof Rack. It has Rhino-Rack Shovel, a Hi-Lift Jack and a KC Hilites Pro 6 Lights. That’s not all.

Moreover, the Yeti 125-quart cooler is there to keep your catch and beverage cold. Additional, the Nissan TITAN SURFCAMP is equipped with Rigid Industries E-Series LED light bar; a Rihno-Rack Batwing Awning, Baja Design XL80s, DragonFly Paddle Board; Chris Birch Surfboards, Freespirit Recreation Elite Series – an automatic tent; Road Shower 4 - a Solar Shower; Leitner Designs Cargo Rack and Custom Surf rod mounts.

Inside, the seats are covered with wetsuit-inspired seat covers and heavy-duty rubber floor mats thus sandy and wet people are very welcome. The cabin offers 5-passenger seats. Utilizing the TITAN Utili-track® Bed Channel System, Surfcamp creates storage for fishing tackle, wetsuits and other supplies with the Decked bed drawer storage system.

The Nissan TITAN Surfcamp is equipped with a Freespirit Recreation Elite Series – an automatic tent.

The Nissan TITAN Surfcamp has a 5.0-L V8 Cummins® Turbo Diesel engine. It produces 310 hp and 555 lb-ft (753 Nm) of torque.

The inspiration of the Nissan TITAN Surfcamp comes from the 1967 Nissan Patrol and a Hot Wheels® 1971 Datsun Bluebird Wagon nicknamed "JNC Surf Patrol" which is a vintage beach cruiser deep-rooted in Nissan heritage.

The Nissan TITAN Surfcamp project vehicle is the latest in the TITAN Adventure series of lifestyle-themed projects builds by Nissan. The very first model is the Nissan TITAN Project Basecamp for the overland camping lifestyle. The second model is the Nissan Armada Snow Patrol which is a skiing-themed truck. The BBQ inspired Nissan is called Smokin’ TITAN and the family adventure-themed the Nissan Armada Mountain Patrol.

The Nissan TITAN Sufrcamp heads west to the Pacific Ocean and the Supergril Surf Pro in Oceanside, California, July 27-29.
