WHAT TO DO ON THE LABOR DAY?
It’s Labor Day and if you wondering what to do on this particular day of the year I can give you some idea – choose a car. If you have not planned any outside activities for any reason and today on Labor Day you have to plan something to do - it will be nice to choose a car. Choosing a car is nice and choosing a bike is amazing. There are several reasons for my suggestion.

TAKE YOUR TIME
TO SEARCH AND RESEARCH
First, take your time to search and research what to be your next car. Yes, choosing a car is a time-consuming thing. Even if you already know what's your next car - equipment level and features are also small details that need their own time. Some features aren't suitable for some of the equipment levels and you could be asked to make some changes and go forward and backward. Yep, in the end, you'll have a perfect build for your car. I do a lot of configuration and some of them are taking even all day long.
Second, there are some 4 months till Christmas and even though it looks like the summer is still around – Christmas is just behind the corner. What’s the best part of Christmas? – The gifts! Which is the best gift? That one you can buy for yourself. Name a number one thing to buy for yourself – a brand new car; a dream car – it could be a new one or an old one but it’s your dream and you have to achieve it which is a must.
Third, you can choose a motorcycle because there is always time to check out if there is another bike that you want to ride. This here is quite important because if you have a bike – stop reading and just hit the road. You can finish the article later or on some special spot that you’re going to find. This can happen with a bike only.
I am excited to give you even more reasons why it is nice to check out what car or motorcycle to buy but I do think that you get the main idea. Onward I would like to give some examples of new cars to think about. I’ll start with some nice cheap cars and then some middle range and why not think about some luxury belongings that you can have – a Rolls Royse, a Bently, a Ferrari, you name it. When I start this article I didn’t think that you can buy a bike so, I’m going to do the extra mile and I will give you my suggestion about three bikes that you can buy.
NEW CARS UNDER $20k

So, first thing first, I would like to start with a price range under $20,000.00 (all values are in USD). One of the very first models is the 2020 Chevrolet Spark. The Spark goes from $13,400.00.

The next option might be something like the Chevrolet Sonic which is a sedan version of the Spark. The 2020 Sonic's price tag starts from $16,720.

2020 NISSAN VERSA
The 2020 Nissan Versa is actually one of the cheapest models even lower than the 2020 Chevrolet Sonic. The Nissan Versa price starts at $14,830. Moreover, Nissan is part of the Renault-Nissan alliance and the company already has solid experience to produce entry-level cars like the Versa which are somehow reliable – Dacia [da`chi`a] (a Romanian carmaker under the Renault-Nissan alliance that uses its own design but all Renault technologies and it’s the cheapest car in Europe). Some additional information is that the Nissan Versa is at least two steps above comparing the similar sedan model in Europe – Dacia Longan (a.k.a Renault Logan on some markets) mostly used as a workhorse.

The Honda Fit is another option for a small hatchback under 20 grand. The Fit price starts at $16,190.

2021 HYUNDAI VELOSTER
There are a lot of models that Hyundai offers for under $20,000.00. The Hyundai Veloster ($18,900.00) – is a compact 3-door hatchback.

2021 HYUNDAI ACCENT AND 2020 HYUNDAI ELANTRA
The Hyundai also offers two subcompact sedans. Are they are going to beat the Nissan Versa? Let’s see. The cheapest Hyundai Accent price is $15,295.00 and the next available model is the Hyundai Elantra $19,300.00. Still, the Nissan Versa ($14,830.00) keeps the lower price. By the way the Hyundai Elantra GT – a 4-door hatchback that goes at a little bit over the $20k = $20,650.00. This is how fast the range of $20k has passed.

2020 KIA RIO, 2020 KIA FORTE, 2021 KIA SOUL
Another South Korean brand and twin of Hyundai is Kia. The Kia Rio starts at $15,850.00 and the Kia Forte MSRP is $17,890.00. There is also a crossover called Kia Soul with a price of $17,490.00.

AND 2020 TOYOTA COROLLA Sedan
We cannot miss Toyota. Their models under the $20k are the 2020 Toyota Yaris Sedan ($15,650.00); the all-new 2020 Toyota Yaris Hatchback ($17,750.00); and the 2021 Toyota Corolla Sedan price starting at $19,825.00. The 2021 Toyota Corolla Hatchback's price is just over - $20,465.00.

Well, there is only one Ford with a price just below the $20k range. The 2020 Ford ECOSPORT starting price is $19,995.00 which is the only Ford model in that range while I'm writing this article.

The VW Beetle is a nice and specific hatchback based on VW Golf. It's like larger than the entry-level cars; it looks roomier than the Volkswagen Golf. The 2019 Beetle might be suitable for a daily commuter. If you want to bet on the Volkswagen Beetle – its price tag starts from $20,895.

NEW CARS ABOVE $30k
With the increase in the price range, the model options to choose from are very wide. So I'll pick just one sedan and I'll get the main idea of the size of an SUV if you're looking for such type of a vehicle. That's because from here it's very easy to look at a sedan then switch to an estate, crossover, or SUV and end up with a pickup truck.
So, I'd like to show you the Lincoln MKZ. It's a nice premium US model that can fight Audi A4, BMW 3 Series, and Mercedes C-Class, starting with the price. The MKZ starting price is $36,750.00.

NEW CARS ABOVE $40k and $50k
I am feeling that I have to write about sedans and will keep the flow. Here are some examples of models that are valuable to buy from the range above $40k and as well as some models above $50k.
2020 BMW 3 SERIES and 2021 BMW 5 SERIES
One example is the BMW 3 Series. Its price tag starts from $41,250. The BMW 5 Series price starts at $54,200.

The Lincoln Continental's starting price is $46,305 and looks like something more than the E-Class or the 5 Series, isn’t it?! Having rear coach doors it recalls of Rolls Royce but the starting price is around the BMW 3.

There is also another option for any other car and brand, especially if I missed a brand that offers a model or models below $20k you can write me a comment. Instead of cars, and why not both, we can search for motorcycles too – I love to call them bikes. Here I will mention just a few models that I would like to try.
WHAT NEW MOTORCYCLE TO BUY?
BMW F 750 GS, BMW 850 GS, BMW F 1250 GS
The BMW F750GS which GS model range celebrates a 40-years anniversary. Probably the model is most suitable for road travelers and trips but if you are willing to go deeper inside nature then maybe the BMW F850GS and even the BMW F1250GS will be nice bikes to check out.

TRIUMPH TIGER 900
The Triumph Tiger 900 is an interesting bike for me and it’s one of those you can compare to the BMW ones.

HONDA NC750X, HONDA VFR1200X, HONDA GOLD WING
Even though I’m more about bikes between 650 cc to 850 cc I would check out some models above than engine displacement – just to feel them. One of these motorcycles is the Honda VFR1200X, the Honda Africa Twin Adventure Sports ES, and a bike that looks good to me is the Honda NC750X. Of course, there are Honda Gould Wing Tour, the Honda Gold Wing model, and also CBR something. There are plenty of choices to check out. If you don’t know how to ride a bike – maybe it’s time to learn.
