Which Cars Are the Winners in the Women's World Car of the Year for 2020?

We all are used to the World Car of the Year award. How many of us know about the Women’s World Car of the Year award? The jury of the Women’s Car of the Year includes 50 women all around the globe – 38 countries and 5 continents. All of them are motoring journalists and they had driven all the models that they had voted for. One of the rules is that the models have to be launched between January and December 2020. The Women’s World Car of the Year has nine categories and in the first stage, they had nominated three models in each category. The second stage determines the nine winners. The votes are certificated by an independent auditor Grant Thornton New Zeeland.

In the category Best Urban Car, the Women’s World Car of the 2020 Year goes to the Peugeot 208.

The Peugeot 208 is the Best Urban Car of the 2020 Women's World Car of the Year. 

Women’s World Car of the 2020 Year for Best Family Car goes to the Skoda Octavia.

The Skoda Octavia is the winner in the 2020 Women's World Car of the Year in the category Best Family Car.

 

The Best Luxury Car in the Women’s World Car of the Year award for 2020 is the Lexus LC500 Cabrio.

The Lexus LC500 Convertible won the award Best Luxury Car in the Women’s World Car of the Year  for 2020.

Best Performance Car of the 2020 Women’s World Car of the Year goes to the Ferrari F8 Spider.

The 2020 Ferrari F8 Spider won the 2020 Women’s World Car of the Year in the category Best Performance Car.

The 2020 Women’s Car of the Year nominated the Peugeot 2008 in the category Best Urban SUV.

Best Urban SUV award from the 2020 Women's Car of the Year is the Peugeot 2008.

The next category of the 2020 Women’s Car of the Year is called Best Medium SUV and the award goes to the Land Rover Defender.

The Land Rover Defender won the 2020 Women's Car of the Year award in the category Best Medium SUV 

In the category Best Large SUV, ladies nominated the Kia Sorento.

 

The Kia Storento won the 2020 Women's Car of the Year award in the category Best Large SUV.

The award 2020 Women’s World Car of the Year in category Best 4X4 & Pick Up goes to the Ford F-150.

The Best EV award of the 2020 Women’s World Car of the Year goes to the Honda E

There is one more round of the 2020 Women’s Car of the Year in which from these nine models in each category will be selected one winner. Which one is going to take the award of the Women’s Car of the Year for 2020? – The winner is going to be announced on International Women’s Day March 8, 2021.
