Ladies and Gentlemen Please Welcome The New 2016 Mercedes E-Class (Part Two)

I wrote about the engines and some of the technologies in the new Mercedes
E-Class. Today I would like to present the interior of the new E-Class. It's a
business car so we have to expect more comfort, more space and more of
everything inside it.

The
instrumental cluster is changed with high-resolution display. Actually the
displays are two, each of 12.3 in screen diagonal. There is a very little gap
between them and looks like the instrumental cluster is made with a single
high-resolution display. Unfortunately, these displays are optional extras
which mean that we will have to pay for them. When I saw the interior of the
new Mercedes E-Class with these displays I think that it will worth the money.
Otherwise, the interior without these displays will looks strange for me. There
are options for the driver who could choose between three different styles for
the wide-screen instrumental cluster called “Classic”, “Sport” and
Progressive”.

Inside
in the new Mercedes E-Class is integrated the LINGUATRONIC function which is
voice control system. In the center console there is a touchpad which can
recognize handwriting. There are and shortcut buttons for air-conditioning
system and activation/deactivation driver assistance system.

The
ambient lights in the interior of the new Mercedes E-Class are made by LED.
There are 64 colors of lighting which gives the possibility for
personalization.

The
seats are the most important part in the new Mercedes E-Class. As I said and as
it is, the E-Class is always will be a synonym for business class. Thus the
expectations for the seats should be huge. I can’t speak about them until I sit
on and feel it. The news about the front seats is that they have Heat Comfort
package. This includes the heated armrests in the doors and on the center
console.

The
rear seats in the new E-Class Saloon have the option backrest split in
40-20-40%. This makes the new Mercedes E-Class with more functions for luggage
space. I’m not so sure that somebody will split the backrest to load something
but it’s nice that this function is available. My motive is that this is a car
for travelling with style but for using it for transport of something, I can’t
imagine. The last thing is that I’m waiting for the test drive and video
review, so stay around.
