Subaru Sales Report for 2017
The
2017 was a very good year for Subaru of America, Inc. It was best year for
Subaru Outback, Subaru Impreza and Subaru Crosstrek. The Outback sales are more
than 10,000 units for 46 consecutive months. The Forester also made more than
10,000 units for 53 consecutive months. Subaru
sold over than 50,000 vehicles for 10 consecutive months.

The
increase of sales for Subaru in 2017 is 5.4% versus the previous annual record.
Subaru sold 647,956 vehicles for 2017 vs. 615,132 units for 2016. Subaru of
America marks 9th consecutive year of record sales and an increase of
sales for 10th consecutive year.
In
December 2017, Subaru sold 63,324 units and marks the automaker’s best-ever
sales month, topping the previous best month of August 2017 when 63,215 vehicles
were sold. The sales of Subaru are over than 50,000 vehicles which is the 10th
consecutive month for the Japanese brand in America.

Each
model Subaru Outback, Subaru Impreza and Subaru Crosstrek achieve new annual
sales record. The Outback makes 188,886 units sold which is up 3.3%. The Subaru
Impreza sold 86,043 versions with increasing of 55.8%. The Subaru Crosstreck is
all-new model for 2018 and made 110,138 sales for 2017. The Forester achieved
177,563 sales for the last year. The Subaru Legacy had 49,837 annual sales.
Both Subaru` performance models WRX and STI had 31,358 units sold.

“December represented the best month ever for Subaru of America, capping off the best year in the company’s 50-year history, in both sales and market share,” said Jeff Walters, senior vice president of sales. “Subaru is well positioned to continue its success into 2018 with the all-new 3-row Ascent and an upcoming hybrid coming later this year,” added Walters.
