Mazda's May 2018 Sales Report

Mazda North American Operations (MNAO) reported 29,980 total May U.S. sales. The sales represent an increase of 15.1% in comparison with May 2017. Year-to-date (YTD) sales grow up +14.9% versus last year as 137,031 units were sold. Mazda also marks an increase of 10.7% on Daily Selling Rate (DSR) basis with 26 selling days in May 2018 head-to-head 25 selling days in May 2017.

The 2018 Mazda 6 has new trim options, including the introduction of a Signature which had been available only on the Mazda CX-9. 
The Mazda 6 increases its sales with 63.8 percent year-over-year (YOY) with 4,437 vehicles sold in May 2018. The increase becomes true due to the launch of the new 2018 Mazda 6, which has new trim options, including the introduction of a Signature which had been available only on the Mazda CX-9.




The Mazda CX-5 made record-braking sales as posting best-ever May sales of 14,173 vehicles. It represents an increase of 19.9% YOY. The Mazda CX-5 also mark sales grow with 43.7% YTD.

The Mazda CX-3 marked its best-ever sales as 1,823 units were sold in May 2018. It’s an increase of 18.6% YOY and +14% YTD.

Summary, the all Mazda’s CX models increased their sales in May 2018. The total sales 18,505 vehicles of Mazda CX-3, Mazda CX-5 and Mazda CX-9 were up with 20.6% in comparison with May 2017.



The Certified Pre-Owned (CPO) sales of Mazda also set an increase of 21% YOY with 4,823 CPO vehicles sold in May 2018.

Mazda Motor de Mexico (MMdM) reported May sales of 4,308 vehicles, up 2.4 percent versus May of last year.
