How DRS is Enabled?
The Driver
of a Formula One car can adjust the wing between two pre-determined settings
from the cockpit. The DRS is electronically operated as it can be used at any
time during the practices and qualifications but not with wet-weather tyres.

races of Formula One World Championship, the driver can use the DRS when he is
less than one second behind another car. There are special DRS zones of each
racetrack where the Drag Reduction System can be used.
